Barbering  (9-12 months)​

Barbering is an art form that requires the skill and understanding of the principles behind every haircut. Legends offer the 1500-hour Georgia state-approved certification course in barbering.  The Master Barber and Barber II programs combine both theory and practical training as preparation for licensure examinations. The teaching methods here provided by our Legend educators yield explosive results and enable graduates to cut at an extremely high level.  

Our highly skilled and licensed educators believe in removing clipper gourds at 1000 hours.  The knowledge and skill of these freehand techniques prepare our graduates for both the state board licensing exam and help them build confidence in their abilities so they are able to compete amongst tenured and highly skilled professional Barbers.
 

Cosmetology  (9-12 months)

We offer a 1500-hour certification course, in  Master Cosmetology. Our Georgia state board-approved curriculum combines both theory and practical training in the arts and sciences of hairstyling., basic skincare and nail care, and the skills needed to manage a salon. We are centrally located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. This prime location affords our students the opportunity to perform the services they have learned on a wide variety of hair types while on the clinic floor. 

Under the direction and guidance of these industries, most experienced educators combined with our method of instruction provide the student with explosive results in their performance instilling each student with the tools they need to cut, style, and color at a highly skilled level.

Nail Technology  (4-6 months)

We offer the  525 hours of training as required by Georgia's State Board of  Cosmetology. The rigorous certification course combines both theory and practical training to prepare you for the state's licensure exam. This course is designed to provide the students with the skills to beautify hands and feet, through shaping nails, conditioning the cuticle, the application of nail polish, the application of hand and feet massages, and the experience to be successful within their profession.

Our educators have licensed industry professionals whose creativity inspires each student to excel and achieve explosive results! Our graduates become well-rounded individuals technically and professionally to provide their clients with an extremely high level of service. 

 

Esthetics

Legends also offers  the GEORGIA state-approved 1000 hours of training in the area of esthetics. The course curriculum is structured to allow our students to receive an in-depth understanding of the skin and how it works,  conducting skin analysis and facials, the proper application of makeup, and so much more! 

Our instructors are required to educate themselves on the most up-to-date products and techniques to they are able to create unique lesson plans that keep the student engaged as they prepare for the state board examination as they begin a rewarding career helping clients beautify the one organ we can not afford to ignore, our skin.

Instructor Training​

CEI offers  750 hours of training to Master Barbers and Master Cosmetologists who have a valid license for at least 1 year or more, The training is under the supervision of our Director of Education; through this guidance, our students learn how to effectively teach the skills for which they are licensed and trained, the proper way to construct lesson plans and provide encouragement to a  group of students entering a highly competitive industry. that combines both theory and practical training. We are centrally located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. We believe that each of our "Junior Instructors"  shall use the techniques they learn from our licensed instructors, the instructor-specific coursework,  and their unique flair as they find the most effective style of teaching that will translate within the classroom and on the clinic floor!
